Awesome news! I'll be also about in artist booths so I'll drop by and see u! I already have Hollow fields on order at my local comic book shop (it is taking forever to get hold of!!!) but I would be sure to pick up a cute book mark or maybe stickers? Every one likes stickers right?

Look forward to seeing you there! :)

Oo, a visitor, sounds good. I'm not sure I can get stickers done...hmm...everyone is going for the bookmarks, though. Sounds like a plan!

Oh no! So far in my manga, no one has been locked in combat, transforming or using a special attack! People will just have to put up with my boring 'cute' book art instead!

Another reason for me to go to Supernova ... I think fate is telling me something. Especially when somebody already grabbed my copy of Hollow Fields to give to someone to sign at a point which probably won't be far from the time I could have gotten it done myself anyway :P

Oops, yeah. Well, there are actually a lot of reasons to go to Supanova besides book signings, although some of the other guests have since pulled out. There's still going to be other comic artists and voice actors though. And the artists' alley is always entertaining. I wouldn't be going if they weren't offering me a berth for free...holy cow, was I suprised at the price of a table!

Yeah, I remember a few years ago the USyd and UNSW anime clubs shared a table so it wouldn't cost as much (and I don't remember how vendor tables compared to artist tables). And then because of poor planning the table was in about the worst position possible (this was back at the Wharf 8 complex, and they shoved us in a corridor leading out of the complex so we weren't even technically in the main space). Thankfully our president managed to speak with someone, and they moved us into a store that was only occupied on the Saturday, but we still reckon we lost a lot of custom because the Saturday was the big day and we were in a spot where people probably didn't even realise there was a stall.

No, I'm not bitter about the experience at all ;)

Yay for strange, I would grab bookmarks at a table for sure, and if you had any prints of main characters.

That's another vote for bookmarks, it's getting a strong showing...maybe I should post some examples and the f-list can decide on the best ones?

That certainly wouldn't hurt, if you find you have the time.
