YES OF COURSE. (But I still boodle along onto the video while I write this comment.) It's only two of my favourite people ever singing wonderfully. TOGETHER.
But what I loved about the R and K version was that it wasn't really like a joy of singing with each other, it was a joy of singing. It was about the idea that they could be divas playing divas and they fit together. Actual friendship or not.
no i get it/// the motivation of the song was more 'personal' to their characters than the s/g version.
hope for not being lonely... for finding personal peace...
And yet they were able to - still - channel the classic styles and delivery of s/g... i don't watch glee every week... i'm a reluctant fan of the show... but i have to say that that performance sold me on the skills and the amazingness of the show/actors.
Oh. I know what you mean. The thing is, the show undersells its stars. And sometimes the flashiness overshadows the actual talent. Give them the classics, let them be. It's perfect.
