Hobart; the Deep South of Australian Culture

In 36 hours I will be boarding my plane for Hobart. The flight times still baffle me: I leave Denver at 2:01 pm. DIA-LAX= 2 hours, 29 minutes. LAX-MEL=18 hours, 9 minutes. MEL-HOBART=1 hour, 10 minutes. Arrive in Hobart on Saturday at 4:55pm
