Moving Steampunk Jewelry...

So, as well as the sculptures, I've been for a while now trying to get some of the jewelry I make to "work". I am not, alas a watchmaker (maybe one day. lol) but I'm fairly good with figuring out things. I wanted to make some jewelry that would move... not just swing, or "be moveable" - I wanted to get the gears to spin ( Read more... )

I'm born on February 16th.
i think we lucked out in the birthstone department. Its a great colour and supposed to be a ward against hangovers. ;)

I likes it! Purple, yumm. One day I'm going to get one of those large gem-cut oval amethysts for a rubbing stone. Well, I dream so, anyway.
