Nebraskans is weird people. The town I'm beginning to really like. It's absolutley adorable, filled with coffee shops, cool stores, some good food (amist all the west-mex velveta cheese nachos) and there seems to be a lot to do, which I haven't taken full advantage of because I'd rather sit in and hang or I'm studying. So...you can't stay annoyed at them because they're too nice...but they're not polite?

I gotta say, Nebraska sounds like EXACTLY the opposite of DC. As far as things go, I'd rather have people who are in between the two ends of the spectrum. TOO polite bothers me as much as unbelievably rude does.
