Replying from E-mail?

The one thing I still do with Livejournal is comment to entries and reply to comments. In the HTML e-mail I receive, it has the option to reply right there. I've tried various versions of Internet Explorer, Opera, Firefox, and Safari on a variety of operating systems and it has never, ever worked. I always get the same error:

I have my lj replies set to go to my yahoo.com address, which I also use to sign up for things on the net so that they can send all their spam there. I have a separate folder for LJ replies, which is the only reason I check that account. Since yahoo is web-based, I never have problems clicking on and posting to links that I get in my yahoo webmail.

And Jesus, Perry Farrell is on Twitter! 3 days...

I use gmail and have never had an issue. I do know that form crap has issues in clients like Outlook.. so I dunno what can be done about that.

I used to have this problem when I used the webmail client on dreamhost but once I started forwarding everything to gmail and using the feature there, I've had no problems.

I like the interface too, but hated the bugs that were introduced in later versions, so that as I got newer computers, I had to stop using it.
