(I do like writing drabbles - when you've only got a hundred words, you can play around and take risks you might not with a longer piece of work. Besides, I've always been verbose. It's a good way to practice concision.)

Thank you! I always take Orcs as made from Elves, as per the Silm., so I think there's always room for 'humanity' in there -- especially in Melkor/Morgoth's absence. Once again, I'm very glad you enjoyed it!
