After having almost a full year to consider, I still don't understand why everyone threw such a big fit when Janet Jackson decided to celebrate her heritage and show her breast to millions of people. just because janet jackson is black doesnt mean her heritage has anything to do with africa. your heritage is not the country that the majority of your race stemed from in the old days. its your family history and the culture in which your were raised.

At first, I thought about reconsidering my argument after reading your thoughtful reply. Then I realized that when I wrote this comment, I was being incredibly sarcastic. So instead of "reconsidering" anything, I've decided to restate my post in a more blatantly obvious way:

Janet Jackson is either an idiot for thinking she could flash millions of people and not get called on it or a complete media whore who knew her career was fading so decided to get some publicity. I personally believe the second is true; take one look at her brother and I think you'll agree.
