From what I know, this is a natural reaction from most women giving birth. (Not having given birth myself, I can't give personal evidence)

Try not to take it personally. It sounds like Rose is terrified and so is taking out her frustration on the nearest person, namely you. It's likely to get worse before it gets better, but once that large thing forces its way out of a rather small hole, it will be different. Once you are holding that bundle of new life, all the pain and fear will go.

You are there with Rose. That's the important thing. She would hate you more if you weren't.

But how are you? I bet you are scared as well. Tell Donna your fears, not Rose. You have to be strong for Rose, but Donna can take everything else I bet.

Keep us updated when you can. Keep safe, and I will send good thoughts in your direction.

Holy. Freaking. Crap. Honestly didn't expect to see this blog active again. Wow.

Go easy on Rose. It's not the most comfortable thing, being pregnant. Add complications and the flu on top of that, no wonder she 'hates' you right now.

Hey, just think happy thoughts. Smile and hold Rose's hand. And let her break it if she needs to, soon.

And, hey, welcome back!

I wondered when the baby was due! Don't sweat her attitude. My sister threw things at her husband. It'll all work out in the end, I'm sure.

These are normal reactions for a pregnant woman, add complications and the flu and it's no wonder she's scared.

Not to mention the fact that maybe she's scared she's going to lose you again, after all you did take off and leave her for some time. She's probably feeling a little hurt and scared that you will go again.

Just give her support and love. No matter what she says, she loves you.

That would be Alex O'Loughlin. He's Scottish. He was in the series Moonlight last year. He had a small role in August Rush also as the brother of August's biological dad.
Foxy, isn't he? I seem to have an affection for the British and Scottish men. 3 of the 4 on this list are Scottish.
