Congratulations.

Enjoy every day, because he will grow such a lot in the first year. In a few months he will become a little person with his own personality.

All the joyous congratulations in the world, Doctor, here's another milestone in an already eventful life. One thing: I don't envy you those frequent diaper changes and the long walks back and forth in front of the crib during the wee hours of the morning. Still, you've got two hearts, so that should give you enough strength to endure it all. And think of all those wonderful adventure stories you'll be sharing with your son as he grows. I can just imagine how you'll handle those first inquisitive childhood forays into the acquisition of knowledge. Oh, to be a fly on the wall for all those wondrous growing years. All in all, time flies faster than we know, but somehow, I think you'll do just fine. After all, you've always been a mentor and guardian to your companions. Hope everything runs wonderfully smooth for both you, Rose, and wee Sam Tyler. Keep us posted.
