〣 PERMISSIONS PART DEUX

Jul 07, 2010 03:58

Now, given the girls' abilities and my intense wish not to godmod, I basically copied this section from a permissions meme ganked from an old game of mine. I'm pretty sure it covers all the basics, but if there's anything else, please feel free to tell me ( Read more... )

FOR ALL OF THEM. painhumbles July 7 2010, 08:46:38 UTC
1. Is it okay for your character's thoughts to be read/their mind to be probed? YEP. Although for Gabriel, he'll put up walls SO FUCKING FAST to keep them out, but he's the only one who COULD ( ... )

1. Is it okay for your character's thoughts to be read/their mind to be probed?
humm... probably not, unless asked directly. Time Lords are jerks like that.

2. Is it okay for any of your character's intense/distressing memories to be seen/heard/read in this situation?:
Possibly, but mostly by vague imagery, and very fleeting, at that. He has to be insanely distressed to let that slip.

3. What kind of mind does your character have? Are they disturbed at all? Are their thoughts ordered or jumbled?
...good gods, I can't think of a nice, short way to answer that. I wouldn't call him disturbed, per se, but it definitely isn't standard. Time Lords, being sort of semi-intrinsically empathic/telepathic, on top of perceiving Time as more of a mass at all points than a line or a chain, pretty much NEED to keep their thoughts armoured and in order, or they'll never be good for anything. My Five mostly sticks to that, but occasionally goes careening into a giant mass of possibility stewing in his brain somewhere, so occasionally he's a bit ( ... )

1. Is it okay for your character's thoughts to be read/their mind to be probed? Yes. But Data's mind travels at 66 trillion processes a second. So you would probably be better off with his emotions. Betazeds have no problem reading Soong-type emotions.

2. Is it okay for any of your character's intense/distressing memories to be seen/heard/read in this situation?: Again, there are a lot of them and they come quick and happen fast. He's sent commands to a portion of the Borg Collective before. They can, but I imagine it would be choppy.

3. What kind of mind does your character have? Are they disturbed at all? Are their thoughts ordered or jumbled? Ordered in a bizarre way.

4.Is it okay for your character's emotions to be sensed? Man, I jumped to all sorts of early questions. Yup.

5. Does your character have a weak or strong mind? Are they susceptible to influence or hypnotism? He is pretty easily imprinted on.

6. Does your character have supernatural/mental fortification against mind-reading? No. Just the speed, but ( ... )

1. Is it okay for your character's thoughts to be read/their mind to be probed? Yes, but I can't guarantee he won't feel it and be very angry.

2. Is it okay for any of your character's intense/distressing memories to be seen/heard/read in this situation?: Totes fine :D

3. What kind of mind does your character have? Are they disturbed at all? Are their thoughts ordered or jumbled? Arthas has bits that are conspicuously missing from his mind, like they were just unceremoniously cut out, which they were. This is where a normal person would have empathy, a conscience, restraint, morals, remorse - canonically, he's missing his soul, but since the term is so loose he basically has induced sociopathy. Something else is in the holes. Something that doesn't like you :(

4.Is it okay for your character's emotions to be sensed? Go fo' it

5. Does your character have a weak or strong mind? Are they susceptible to influence or hypnotism? Very susceptible and unguarded. Frostmourne's fault.

6. Does your character have supernatural/mental ( ... )
