I don't know him myself. I'm afraid that I tend to stay away from people with his reputation. It seems safer that way.

Apparently the Admiral thinks you need it. But that's just a guess, of course, since we can't tell. [A somewhat wistful sigh.] Maybe someday.

Now. Back to the subject at hand. Which is you coming to a meeting with us.

The term is someone's attempt at making a clever reference to the nature of the Barge I suppose - though that assumes whatever is outside the hull is what causes the periods of oddness.

You are a warden? I had thought we'd be seeing some idiot try to separate you as their task - oh well. It isn't as if the distinction between the two castes doesn't get more arbitrary every day.

Usually a state like yours would come about from less than benevolent magic. I could go on about how anything that's not normal is seen as something that needs to be fixed, but the pretentiousness of the summary alone is more then I can tolerate.

And for your information, our state is hardly usual or natural, but no worries. We're relatively benevolent.
