Body and Appearance
1. Describe the character's height and build. Is she heavyset, thin, short, rangy?
They're all somewhat petite, with official stats putting them at 5'6" and 105 lbs.
2. How old is she?
The Cuckoos have actually, CANONICALLY, have been given an age. Which is a major shock, given how Marvel is with their floating timelines. Technically, the girls were released from stasis under the World three years ago. But as they were artificially matured while in the World to age thirteen, they now appear to be sixteen.
3. Describe her posture. Does she carry herself well or does she slouch?
They have ramrod-straight posture. Emma totally made them do the entire exercise where you put the books on top of your head and climb stairs. After all, she trained them for perfection. But when they're alone, or sitting, they tend to curl up close to each other, almost huddling together.
4. How is her health? Is she fit or out of shape? Any illnesses or conditions? Any physical disabilities?
As mutants, the Cuckoos' immune system and metabolism are slightly above that of a normal, baseline human - they're just a genetically hardier breed. Add into that the fact that the girls are into yoga, Pilates, and that kind of stuff in a big way, as well as regular Danger Room exercises and actual adventures? Yeah, they're in good shape physically.
The only real disability they have is that their hearts are frozen in their organic diamond forms, thus making the Cuckoos permanently incapable of emotion.
5. How does she move? Is she clumsy, graceful, tense, fluid?
They move in unison most of the time. It's very eerie, much like the rest of their whole package deal. When they have a destination in mind or are projecting the Three-in-One image, they stride purposefully, confidently. But when they're at ease, or just exploring things, they almost drift in their movements, though they never get too far away from each other.
6. How attractive is this character physically? How does she perceive herself in the mirror?
Oh, they're very pretty, and they know it. Emma totally groomed them up to be miniature Emmas, so they definitely got schooled in a rigorous beauty regimen with regular trips to the spa and salon.
7. Describe her complexion. Dark, light, clear, scarred?
Light and clear. Not a pimple or blemish to be seen. They've got good genes and a great hygiene and beauty routine, as said above.
8. Describe her hair: color, texture, style.
It's light blond, slightly wavy, and it goes down to their shoulders.
9. What color are her eyes?
A light bright blue, but they glow white, whitish-blue when using their powers.
10. Does the character have any other noteworthy features?
Nope.
11. What are her chief tension centers?
Right behind their eyes. Not that they get tense anymore, but. They used to.
12. What is the character's wardrobe like? Casual, dressy, utilitarian? Bright colors, pastels, neutrals? Is it varied, or does she have six of the same suit?
It's casual preppy. They stick to solid pastels and light colors up top, though there's definitely a tendency for schoolgirl skirts though they're much shorter than any school would have as their official uniform. They try to avoid wearing all white - they're still not entirely reconciled with Emma.
13. Do her clothes fit well? Does she seem comfortable in them?
Oh, yes. They totally buy fresh new fashions from places like Tommy Hilfiger, American Eagle, Hollister.
14. Does she dress the same on the job as she does in her free time? If not, what are the differences?
They'll sometimes get up in a more traditional black and yellow uniform, but since most times they're not set up to go on missions, they usually go in their everyday schoolgirl getup.
15. You knew it was coming: Boxers, briefs or commando?
Modest cotton white panties. With tiny bows on the front, and each bow is a different color so the girls can differentiate whose is whose. (Celeste's is blue, Phoebe's pink, Mindee's yellow.) Their bras follow the same color scheme.
