I'm having dinner at Dino tonight with some coworkers.  I've never been, but the menu looks amazing (and huge).  Any recommendations?

We had dinner there Saturday. The Girl loved the Burrata, and I enjoyed the cheese polenta with mushrooms. She liked the veggie entree, and I enjoyed the milk fed baby pig. And the Tiramasu was awsome.

Question! Was it an actual pig-shaped pig?

No, it was parts of pig, not a whole pig.

Thank you - one of my friends was really worried about it. :)

I don't think that I've ever had anything there that I didn't like. And they have an amazing wine list.

What have you had there? It all sounds so good, I'm having trouble deciding!

Well it's been about 2 years since I've eaten there - but I do remember having cheese instead of dessert - and oye - that was completely worth it itself.

They do, and that will be one of my appetizers tonight. I love wild boar.

I also had some sort of fruit with baked amaretti topping that was really good. It sounded weird because the menu said it was black perppercorn vanilla gelato, but it did not taste like pepper at all.

The black pepper gelato was another source of concern. New = scary and bad!

I'm weird, I actually wanted it to taste like pepper. I was intrigued :) I don't know if I've burned out my taste buds, but it really just tasted like vanilla to me. It had little black flecks in it, but could not taste it.
