Request for a wounded kitty

Does anyone in the DC area have a large-ish animal crate/cage I could borrow for a week or so?  Ours is currently inaccessible, and Tansy needs to be contained once she comes home.  She's not allowed to jump on anything, and there is no room with a door in my apartment that doesn't have something she can jump and/or climb on.  Otherwise, I guess I ( Read more... )

This makes me sad. I don't have any cages and I don't even live near you.

We used to use an old playpen. Other baby travel furniture might serve as well. Port a cribs with netting on the side. You could rig a cover.
I hope you find a cage.

Actually, there was one in my basement that you would be welcome to have. I just went downstairs and took a picture of it. I'll send it over and see if it is what you are looking for...

I think some pet lady just moved and there is a collections of travel cages - I moved one of the largests one into my storage unit if you want it (and toss it when you are done with it). There are 2 that are the same size if you want to put two of them together.

How big is it? I need something that can fit a litter box and a bed - unless it's a travel crate for a great dane, it probably won't work.
