I am feeling sorry for myself. Today was going well - I passed my theory test! I'm allowed behind a wheel! And we're getting a brand new car on Friday! - until I fell flat on my face coming out of my Italian class. I have

As indeed am I. Though mostly I'm impressed at the fact that I could pitch completely forward and not put out an arm to protect myself. That's *special*.
It's true. Someone up there is laughing at me. For proof, I refer you to the cricket. And the rugby. We get the big win in the wrong bloody sport.
Email - basically this name @yahoo.co.uk. Fairly simple. Though we're planning on getting broadband, and I'm attempting to come out of internetty hibernation, so should be back online a bit in the near future.
It's a rather terrifying thought, me behind the wheel. More terrifying - I apparently have good enough eyesight to not need my glasses while driving. *laughs* Not that I'll be doing that! I am a bit scared at the thought that I am considered competent enough to be allowed to handle a very large and heavy and utterly deadly thing though!
Ouch. poor you. well done on the theory test - ive got mine in 4 weeks and im scared - how embarrassing would it be to fail??? I'm sorry I missed you at home and will try to be better at keeping in touch!
I failed the theory test and it is very, very embarassing. They asked me a lot of really crap questions about how the highway code applies to cyclists, when everyone knows that actual cyclists use the roads like they've never even heard of the highway code and if they appear to be following it, it's probably just luck (living in the city has taught me to hate cyclists because they're almost as much of a danger to pedestrians as the buses).
However, it doesn't actually matter that I failed it now because if you don't pass your practical test within two years you have to do it again anyway, and I haven't been behind the wheel of a car since 2002.
I found out today that as of today the rules of the road have been updated! Argh! Mostly to cover the Luas and stuff like that! It's fairly easy enough to pass. You should have a look to see if there are any CD-ROMs with the questions - I borrowed one of those from a friend and found it so much better than the book.
I'm sorry I missed you too! I guessed you hadn't checked your emails, so don't worry about it! I should be online a bit more, and updating this thing more, so hopefully that will make being in touch a bit easier. I'm glad to see your PG stuff finally seems to be resolving itself!

Could you e-mail me your current address? Since you're not around much online, I thought maybe I would try communicating in the old fashioned way.

Well done on passing the test... I hope you're much safer in a car than you are walking about.
