hi cristina i really like your answer to the question regarding 'proverbs of hell'. studying blake, i found that a lot of his work focuses on religion and often alludes to topics such as heaven and hell. i agree with you when you stated that
"Blake’s principle behind the paradoxical “Proverbs” is mainly to provoke thought in the reader, and perhaps society in general; he achieves this through invoking diabolical statements which are confrontational and ironic"
overall i felt that this piece was really well written and set out.

This is an excellent entry Cristina. You have clearly identified some of the key motivations for Blake composing this provocative work. He was -as you clearly identify- keen to provoke his audience into questioning what he saw as the hypocritical creeds by which they lived. But it is not so much the Bible that he satirizes and parodies, but people's conventional interpretations of sacred texts. Well done
