Hello, Angel. You don’t know that I’m here yet - or do you? You can probably sense it. I can sense you. I could feel you the second I set foot in Los Angeles. Trust me, if I could avoid you, I would

How the hell I got back to the hotel while currently more than drunk and bouncing on vision pills is beyond me. How I even got in my car, never mind drove the two and a half miles downtown to the Hyperion is puzzling me more than I'd like but-- Well, no time for dwelling.
Vision. Girl. Ripped apart. Not-so-fun.
"Angel?" I call, almost barrelling through the door before I even push down the handle. "I had a--"
Oh. My. God. Oh my God. Suddenly VERY sober.
"Darla?" I whisper, then gasp again as my gaze drifts down to her stomach. Her very pregnant, bulging stomach.
The last time I’d seen her, she’d been threatening to hit me on the head with something heavy and I’d been too weak, dying, and human to do anything about it.
Things are different now. I may not have any idea of what’s inside of me, but whatever it is has increased my strength exponentially - not that I need the supernatural power boost to take on Angel’s little girl Friday.
As my lips curl into a devilish smile, I can feel my face morph into its vampiric visage. “Cordelia,” I say, tongue running over fanged teeth menacingly. “How nice to see you again.”
She's going to kill me. I don't have to wait for a doctor to pronounce my head officially blown out by a vision - Darla looks hungry, and kinda like I'm her next meal ticket for the next ten minutes.
"You too!" I say, smiling brightly, hoping that someone comes downstairs or into the hotel, like now. "I mean, it's a while since I've seen you but boy, you're really... Really..." Pregnant? "Glowing! Yes. You're... Glowing."
My hand closes round the stake in my bag (what? I lived in Sunnydale for how many years? I'm not totally brain dead.)
I relaxed my face and smirked. "Glowing, huh? Why donÕt you tell me what you really see, Cordelia?"
I started moving slowly down the steps, prolonging each moment. She really had no idea what she was dealing with, that much was wonderfully obvious. She couldn't touch me now. Even Angel would've found my power slightly beyond him.
"Big scary monster, coming to snap your neck? Cause I tell you, it is tempting. The look on AngelÕs face alone would make it worth my while."
I noticed with satisfaction the subtle fumbling in her bag. What a hapless little fool Cordelia was. "As to why I'm here, you've obviously noticed that I'm - glowing -" I smirked at her word choice. "I've come to appeal for child support."
