-i am currently reading "killing yourself to live" by chuck klosterman aka the author of "sex, drugs, and cocoa puffs" which i have yet to read, but let me just let everyone know that this is an excellent book and is worth your time

i read sex, drugs, and cocoa puffs. you can borrow it if you want.

it was good, but at times it was really boring and hard to get through, albeit his snarky, but sometimes exhausting commentry. also, some of his topics and references went unnoticed by me. for example, he talked about saved by the bell, but then would talk about lakers vs. celtics, and the craze over that.

i think mrs joplin is trying to kill us through boredom.
ugh.

also about the broadening horizons but feeling guilt.. you shouldn't feel guilty (if you're referring to what i think you're referring to) because people change and even if you had always said you never would do certian things, people mature and it's ok to change your mind.
