Sometime last week I watched Boondock Saints again, and paused to sketch some scenes. There are actually three more, but two of those don't have any of the main characters in them at all and the third kind of sucks. But here are the other five, which I'm sure at least some people on my flist will enjoy.
All of these are done in conte on Strathmore drawing paper.
Connor and Murphy leaving the church towards the very beginning of the movie. I really didn't want to deal with drawing steps, so I didn't.
Rocco and Connor, right after the bartender has announced that he's going to have to close down the bar. I kind of messed up Rocco's left hand a bit, but, considering I'm not good at drawing hands at all, I think it turned out pretty well anyway.
Smecker proving the huge guy theory and the serial crusher theory wrong like a crazy genius. His feet weren't actually visible in the shot, so I kind of had to guess. And his face is a little blurry...
Conner, right after smacking Murphy out of the way in the race to see what's in the case on the bar in the Russians' hotel room. They're such children, really.
Connor, Rocco, and Murphy in the shootout against Il Duce. ... Man, I just realized I drew Connor several more times than Murphy. Huh.
