This book ("The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian" by Sherman Alexie) amuses me so much.

"My grandmother had no use for all the gay bashing and homophobia in the world, especially among other Indians.

Man, Sherman Alexie is probably one of my five favorite living writers. I don't think I've read something by him I haven't enjoyed.
