we survived the wrath of Sandy. we were lucky than most but not as lucky as all. First of all we only lost power for 20 hours. why we were so lucky has been a question all the neighbors have been asking, but as someone said, if you feel guilty for having power and heat while others do not, turn yours off

I am glad to hear that you escaped Sandy...relatively unscathed..considering some of the disasters I have been hearing about from my LI relatives
