Hey Jessica,

I understand your confusion, definitely. You don't have to know exactly who you are right away, whether you identify as male or female or anything else.

Just because you do/did feminine things doesn't mean you can't feel like a man inside. I played the girl part all through high school and college. I'm in the military now, so I still play the girl part when I'm at work.

I just wanted to say that you're not alone, and definitely not the first person to feel as you do. Just explore your feelings, don't be scared or ashamed of them. If you want to try dressing a different way, or wearing your hair a different way, go for it.

I wanted to make this longer, but I'm super tired. So, if you would like to chat, you can e-mail me at jscismyman1@aol.com or IM me at the same name on AIM. Talk to you later

Andrew

Hey Jessica,
I'm 16 too. Although I didn't (don't) do the girly thing, the best afvice I can offer is just do what feels right. It's pretty scary in the beginning when you come out to your self or start getting that initial inkling. I'm not actually sure when I "figured it out" I always knew, but it was just a matter of knowing there were others. I'm ranting, anyway the point is just take your time, do some research, there's no hurry. If you want to talk, my AIM sn is the same as my lj.

Im on t and I still do my hair and make sure i look good and keep my nails clean...its not called girly in the male world here in the south its just metro and the girls seem to love it.
