Freaky...

Mar 02, 2009 00:24

So, to add to my lack of sleep, a very freaky thing happened in the wee hours of the morning. First off, to set the stage, I never have my cell phone nearby when I go to sleep, it is usually left downstairs, but because of the girl scout sleepover I had to keep my cell nearby. The cell rings at 4:40am and I am expecting to maybe see a girl scout ( Read more... )

100%, as it turns out.

I hope your mother is doing well.

*smiles* yes, you are right... apparently it is a 100% chance since it did happen. I was too wrapped up in the oddness of it to think of it logically. :)

Unfortunately, there hasn't been much improvement in my mom. The doctors are still adjusting her meds. I think tomorrow (or later today *looks at clock*) we will find out more when the hospital is off of weekend doctors.

Thanks.

Very freaky. And my cell is back downstairs tonight. It was all very surreal. He called back again a minute or so later and I just let it go to voice mail, and them he texted me to say 'sorry again.' I just wish I could have gone back to sleep afterwards.

What the hell? Did he want a date? Seriously. I hope your mum is getting better or is there still no response to the meds they are giving her? Have they changed them yet?

Loves you, Sonia :)

It probably was a 'booty-call' at that hour on a Saturday night. Maybe he figured anyone would do if he couldn't find his friend. *snerk*

No positive response to the meds yet. They have made some changes, but last night and today her symptoms were worse. Today she will see her regular doctor and not the one on call for the weekend. I did a bit of reading on the internet and it does seem that it can take a while to get the meds sorted out and that some can actually worsen the condition. I am hoping they will get the right combination and amount soon because this is being really hard on her heart.

Thanks.

That is very odd. It would unsettle me too.

Good thoughts for your mother's recovery. Hope you're both doing okay.

Yes, I was unsettled and the lack of sleep and brain function didn't help with looking at things logically.

Thanks. She had a better night last night. :)

Whatever the odds, that is one HELL of a freaky coincidence. I know it'd kind of creep me out...

Keeping you and your mum in my thoughts; hope she's on the road to recovery.
