Seeing France Gall would be awesome. Or Francoise Hardy. It somehow never occurred to me to think how awesome the atmosphere at the early ye-ye shows must have been!

I do wonder about it! Most of the live footage I've seen is actually from singing competitions, featuring stiff, old, unsmiling judges in the audience.

I find the "Resistance is Futile." line curiously out of step with the actual portrayal of what this meme is about. What are you resisting? And why is it futile? Is your technological and biological distinctiveness somehow going to be assimilated into a greater collective as a result?
