That is a very awesome quote. I was poking around a Book-Off today scouting for books I might be able to read in Japanese (bought 8--that should hold me for a year or more) and I realized that my bias against books translated into Japanese from other languages really should only apply to books originally written in English. Why would Finnish fare any worse going to Japanese than to English? Therefore, perhaps I shall read more Moomin books in Japanese. I can prolly get them cheaper here...
