Kay guys, I'm leaving for Rome tomorrow morning so I won't be online for about two weeks (!)

Man, my parents are always like this. They're like "Nah, we'll figure something out" every time I ask them what our plans are for the holidays. So I though, hey, if we're going it won't be a long trip, right, maybe to Belgium for a few days? WRONG.

Pasta salad turned out great! I kinda fiddled with the recipe (no celery, more paprika and cucumber) but my family thought it tasted good, which is quite amazing seeing how my mum doesn't like mayonnaise

I do not fear metric! That carrot cake sounds awesome, by the way, and when I get back from my travels, I'm totally making it. For now, it's cheesecake brownies. XD

And cucumber, what a good idea! I don't really like celery, but it's pretty lucky that you can't really taste it in the salad... but cucumber would be a nice addition. And yeah, paprika also helps add a bit of a bite (when I made it for my friend, she was slightly opposed to the idea so I left it out - still tasty, though!). Yay cooking!

Yay! Man, I hope your brownies (and carrot cake!) will turn out great.

Yeah, we didn't have celery left because we used all of it in one of our Iranian herb stews (in which it tastes great and not so strong) but my mum thought cucumber was a better idea anyway.
