You would be called anti-american for saying something like that in a lot of places. The funny thing is though, since you reference the way our nation was built on immigration and those fleeing oppression, if you bring it a bit more recent, you will find immigrants to be some of the most racist and anti-immigration people around. I have a family full of first generation americans that came over from Sicily, and if you get them started on a discussion about a national language and citizenship they will stand strong that all of the non english speakers should be booted out. Makes you wonder when people turned so isolationist when they think it suits them monetarily or fits a misguided view of human worth, huh?
