...Yeah I got another here, haha. I had originally intended this to be a ska song (obviously by the lyrics) but I know the lyrics are more punk than anything, so oh well. I actually really like this song even though it needs some work, I think I got something good to work with here. And don't ask me why a reference ska in ska songs, i just like ( Read more... )

Nice again man. I'm really liking it.

Although, I wouldn't say the lyrics are necessarily punk. One of the things I love about ska is the music is generally so happy, but the lyrics are also depressing half the time. I honestly think one of the reasons ska isn't that popular is that ska as a whole tells it like it is. A lot of the songs are depressing, or about issues no one wants to think about. And its hidden behind upbeat music for that added, cynical effect. A lot of ska has deeper meanings and messages, and people don't like to hear that.
