Today while I was driving ( ; ) ), we gently roll to a stop at an intersection and my mother opened her mouth to release this: "We need to talk about your shoplifting... habit." Her tone was light and casual. I was really just confused.
What made you think of that?"It might seem like just an easy way to get things for free ( Read more... )

when we learn to sew, you can make your own curtains. That should happen soon.

and I got a really nice art set for Crimmus, so mayhaps I'll paint you somethin' purty for your wall. Once I develop any skill, that is. I'm pretty good at pumpkins, if you're interested.

Nyeh. I'll make curtains for my room, but it's easier to just steal curtains than to steal fabric.

Aw, that's sweet of your mother. They worry, it's in their nature, I suppose.
I have a futon...frame. But, it could be fixed up real fancy! We could haul it over...I've been trying to get rid of it for a while.

...so how many of her gifts did you pay for?

'Cause like, in my opinion, giving people gifts that you stole is a really shitty thing to do.

Unless of course you're giving said stolen gifts to me. XD And I asked for them. But it's okay if they ask for and know ahead of time that they're going to be receiving stolen gifts. It's only shitty if they don't know.

If either of you ever find yourself with stolen gifts that you've rethought and don't know what to do with, I will happily be a stolen gift vortex. For your convenience. Yes, that's it, I'm only thinking of helping you. ^_^

I don't think it's shitty. That's like saying it's shitty to flawlessly act like you love someone, tell them that you love them, make them feel like you love them, but not actually loving them. Does it make a difference, really, to them?

The answer is no. It doesn't. Because they're recieving all of the benefits.

And I stole every single christmas present. It's the thought that counts, remember?

i have a couch im trying to take down to st augustine with me. but if i cant find a place for it, i'd consider driving the extra 80 minutes to gville, provided you pay for the gas. but its a big couch. long.

OoOo. I'm interested. What kind of couch? We foud a sofa set in gaineville that we can have for free, but there's a chance that irreparable damage has been done to it.
