There were some bananas I was saving to make a banana cake. At least a week for them to look dark enough, but it was definitely worth it. I just had a slice with some ice cream on it. My little sister came back from Long Beach today. She was barely gone for four days, and I really didn't notice her absence to be honest, but I'm glad she's here to kick me into gear every now and then. The Olympic torch passed through Edmonton today. I was lucky to get a window seat at work to see the runner holding it. It was from too many floors up to make it worthwhile, but it was cute to watch for the few minutes it took for them to exit my view ( Read more... )
