I was going to post an entry about hos Jess and I were finally going to get married. I was going to tell you we were going to go out to California to do it sometime within the next six months. I was going to tell you that we were already planning a wedding reception back in Ohio for all of our friends, and that everyone on my f-list was invited

I love you, so much. And you know what? I don't give a rats ass what any of them think, say, or feel on the matter because they aren't me. They can take their legal marriages and shove them up their asses for all I care.

I have you and that's what matters to me. In my eyes, we're already married.

According to a few people I've heard celebrating Obama, things should start to equal out. While I doubt this, I'm also a cynic so its to be expected.

The word Marriage has been so embroiled with religious controversy, with all the crazy conservatives holding it like a child who doesn't want to share... I wouldn't want a word with so much hate placed around it by these crazy "omgawd. God" people to be associated with someone as wonderful as you guys.

On the other hand, I'm going to have to say equal rights would be nice. Equal rights should still hold true and sound, even if they want to call it a civil union or whatever other word they come up with it. If the word "marriage" is so painful for everyone to use, then they need to think of another word. It still doesn't change that people deserve the same rights as others, no matter what their preference.

Our country, for all its "we're an example to the world" is a pathetic example...

It sucks...it sucks hardcore and makes me want to go and hit someone over there who voted for it.

I've seen so many straight relationships fail, so many marriages fall apart. But you guys? Well I haven't admired a friends relationship so much since ever. I hold you two in the same caliber of my parents relationship, they were married till the day Mom passed.
