When is death a better option than life?

I can think of a few times. Granted life really has to suck and show very very little sign of ever improving, which does sometimes happen in my humble opinion.

(Keep in mind that this also depends on your definition of "life," i.e. how would you define Terry Schiavo's case?)

BUT *ahem* in sentence form, Death is never a better option than Life. There is always something, someone to live for. Always a reason to keep going.

That's what I'd say. That's why I find it so difficult to see it from others' perspectives. For some, there really is more hope in death than there is here. I know it, it's just hard to accept.
