it's hard to explain, and difficult to comprehend.
But it's important for me to say.
these past four weeks have taught me so much.

i never understood before
i never knew what love was for
my heart was broke, my head was sore.

i had taken so much for granted. i had wasted so much time, and had put so much energy into things that were of no consequence.

long fascinated with boys..
i was very particular with my views of the 'perfect man'

it was not the smile i scrutinized, nor the eyes 
though those elements were nice in their own way

and you're probably all going to think i'm crazy for this...
but it was the hands i always looked at
