My academic year over here in Japan has come to a close. It's really crazy to think that I've been here for a year and now it's time to go back home. Time has a funny way of sneaking up on you, doesn't it? It seems like it's been getting faster and faster, and I've become less and less aware of how quickly time moves the older I get. That's life,

I'm totally going to bug you at some point in late September, if not before. I travel to Amherst to get my hair cut, so I will make a special effort to see you while I'm there!
And summer vacation? What is this mythical creature that you speak of? My 40-hour work weeks are going well, thanks for asking. ^_^ (I'm serious - I <3 my job!)

I guess I could've had a summer vacation, but my brain deteriorates when I'm idle, so I threw myself into a job as fast as possible. I seem to have made a good choice in employer because it will really help me move closer to one of my goals of becoming a veterinary technician. Now that David has a car, we can see each other more easily. I am once again making an attempt to get a drivers license of my own *weeps silently* That's my summer in a nutshell, I guess!

Stupid summer and no job postings... I'm going to have to deal with that once I get back as Japan has left me poor. Yay poor!
