thanks for hanging on so long. I don't know, I guess I don't do will with expectation and I started writing this just for me and then I got a little overwhelmed and well, in my head the story I was telling myself is done, if that makes sense, and it never occurred to me that other people might want to know how it turns out. <3

It was awesome to see a new part of Beach Music as the first thing on my flist when I looked. :) I really love how Gerard and Bren are stumbling along together and figuring it out. After reading this I am going to reread the whole story because it reminds me of how much I enjoy it.

I really like how Spencer is sympathetic to Bren's desire to move and it makes so much sense to suggest she talk to Haley. Gerard being flustered about buying her the present is cute.

Oooh, I loved this update. Spencer and Brendon's friendship is the best, and I so love how Gerard and Bren figure out how to be there for each other even though they're far away

i think that in the end (and there is an end, i promise. this thing exists fully formed in my head and maybe that's why i took such a long...break...from writing it) this is a story about friendship and figuring out how to be together, no matter what. thank you so much for sticking around for it. <3
