I've been spending the past few nights just watching videos of Flaming Lips shows. Holy shit, if I ever get the chance to see them live, I'll most definitely piss myself. Sensory overload! I get emotional even watching the videos. Why must they be so awesome? And why am I just now really getting into them?!

I saw your Flaming Lips icon on immoralilly's livejournal, and went and looked at your profile where I saw Dorian Gray and House and BE MY FRIEND PLZKTHX? Ahem.

I saw the Lips live last year and cried. Twice. It was all so colourful and surreal and magical... and they gave us all laser pointers, and then Wayne had this big mirror and he got everyone to point them at it at the same time and wow. (Sorry, I like to talk about it.)

Oooooh, I'm incredibly jealous. I bet I would've cried, too. I saw some videos of the lasers on YouTube and I was like "O_O". How does Wayne come up with these ideas?

I have no idea how anyone comes up with these ideas... but they make other concerts seem very mundane in comparison.
