my foot is feeling pretty good! i saw the doctor last week and he thinks it's doing well, and mild aching is normal.. i can pretty much walk all i want with no probs so long as i'm wearing decent shoes. can't get used to the orthotics though, ughh.
how's your ankle?
any recipe ideas for the bok choy other than stir fry? i've never cooked it before!
ankle is good, still pretty stiff but I think it's gonna feel like that until I can get the hardware yanked out of it. But I can even jog now! Wheee!
BOK CHOY!!! I chop it up with other assorted greens (thinly scliced fennel, green onion, broccoli, snow peas, cabbage) and toss them all into hot chicken broth (with some memmi in it for flovor if you want)and tofu or rice noodles if you want some body/protien in there. It really doesn't need to be cooked, just warmed through. so good. (I think there's a photo of said yumminess somewhere over at my journal) But thats just how I like it. there are 1000 ways to enjoy the yumminess. My mom just throws it into frying sausage (which sounds freaking disgusting to me, but hey, if you like sausage I guess it would be good)
yikes, we didn't use all of our scapes last week and we got more this week! tips? also, bibb lettuce, yum, lucky you. lucky you on the sna p peas too. i think we get some next week.
i still have some too. my favorite thing to do is just sautee them (in small pieces, but not diced as small as regular garlic cloves) with greens, or any other veggie really. i have some broccoli i'm going to steam and add the sauteed scapes to. but i love garlic!
