If anyone has a strange rash or wound that is growing black, or oozing black pus, immediately wrap it up and do not come into contact with anyone else. My roommate's infected. We're in a cabin out by the forest, so we're quarantine-able. I talked to Reeve and Anita - is there anything else I need to know?

It all depends on how strong they are. I wish I can give you an exact time... but I've known people to be sick for months while others die within a matter of days.

I can't deal with this. Read the files. It's a corruption of the body when trying to overcompensate for fighting off an invading virus. Or cell-like object. Not native to our planet. If you're getting my drift.

Could be possible. It... isn't near our native planet.

Paralyzation, rotting flesh, blocking the lungs, death. Sometimes there are signs of mutation, extreme psychosis, and even enhanced strength followed by sudden collapse and death. As for the cure...

Our planet lives. As in has its own memory, lifeforce, whatever you ant to call it. We call it the Lifestream, and everything that has lived, will live or is living adds to this river of pure energy. Someone very close to me - to us - was able to control this pure energy to cleanse everyone of the stigma.
