...to find out is quite simple - you search previous posts made by the member, this very quickly gives you an idea of who to listen to and who to take with a pinch of salt.

I thought I might have exaggerated the brilliant awfulness of this thread, but nope: having slept on it, it's still amazing. Possibly it is channelling all the bile of that entire large forum.
And yeah, I hate that "just how he is," business - often a sign of one of the Five Geek Social Fallacies in action, whereby people know somebody's behaviour is unacceptable, but they've decided it's unacceptable ever to exclude anybody, no matter what...

Well, at that rate of going we're all sitting ducks! What's to stop someone breaking their leg in a park, dragging themself to my place and claiming my carpets did it?!
