The Macbeth was really good! I had some minor quibbles with what lines they decided to cut vs leave in, but the visuals were SO fantastic. One of the most gorgeous movies I've seen in a long time, definitely.

Between this and rewatching Murnau's Nibelungen movies, I'm really feeling hungry for more visually rich stuff - I realised it's been a while since I gravitated towards films in search of visual spectacle. Then R found a trailer for the new Jodorowsky biopic, The Dance of Reality, and I really want to see it now!

Sherlock is very good and dark.Taboo is one i have yet to watch so no verdict on it.
