I adore how you ignore EVERYTHING ELSE in that post.... and focus on that... XD
Yes. There is only one. It's $10 a piece to get in. It's indoors with one slide. There's nothing like a season pass or a resident discount like Splash Station offers.... and... though it might be offered year round.... it's ... not very fun. THIS was fun. XD
Sorry, it was the part I found odd. At any given time we have 3-5 water parks within a half hour drive, more if extended to an hour drive. $10 would be a bargain to get in to one, but one slide? really?
One slide... it's ALASKA.... they've shut down the pools there, yanked money from the public transit, shorted hours and money for the libraries.... it really isn't that surprising that the privately owned waterpark doesn't even begin to compare to stuff here...
AK is WAY behind the ballgame. Like... copious amounts...
and .. my parents pointed out that we've got three pools/waterparks withing immediant driving distance with HECK HUGE more a little farther away....
WATER I CAN SWIM IN IS AWESOME!
and the park I go to will be something like $9 for a resident adult once I get my res. card.... but the season pass is unlimited for 100 and twenty.. which... yeah... I'd be up on that... XD next year for sure, everyday we could go we would- it's just down the street.
It's so frickin' WEIRD.. and AWESOME because.. they just seem LOUDER than I remember it... and it's GREAT... the last two nights I was getting teased from my parents because of needing my storm fix.....
but they don't understand that I have the dire need for a storm fix that hasn't been taken care of for ten years... XD ... woke up at 3am last night and saw GREEN lightning. <3 and RAIN and WIND... GAH! so much love!
I don't like it when people get hurt from storms... but it surely raises my respect ( and fangirling?) for them in a way. Here is something so powerful and so deadly and we've lived through it..... things have gotten so much better though with the predictions and spotting and getting the warnings and sirens out since I was a kid-really cut down on the and injuries... though... there's little to help with destruction.
If I get my camera I'm so taking lightning shots. <3 <3 <3... since my good one is a film though... XD development takes forever.

Yay! I love these too, as long as there's no damage to my stuff and no one gets hurt.
