Go to your profile page > journal > customize journal

On the page where it says something like 'choose journal layout', scroll down until you see '3. choose page setup'

There is a drop-down menu there with three options: vertical, horizontal and in between entries. Try them all to see what works best with your layout. This particular one I'm using doesn't support vertical ad placement, hence the absence of peky layouts. XD

If you still dont get it, reply and I'll make screencaps. Or if it doesnt work, your layout might not have the right overrides. :D
