Getting it done
I finally have everything into the new place. I unpacked the books into a huge stack in the living room so I could sort them and move them to the appropriate bookcase. I have too many books. So, I have the task before me of picking the winner of a contest. One of the people I was considered just emailed and trashed us because we are taking too long to pick the winner.

Almost done
I managed to get another batch of boxes up from San Jose today. One more to go and all my stuff that is in California will be in one place for the first time in 3 years. Hooray. Settling in
Finally getting settled in the new place. All the stuff is out of the studio, and I have quite a lovely arrangement of guitars, amps and drums in my living room now.
gileswench came over yesterday and we sorted all my clothes. I just have way too many so I'm giving/selling all the ones I don't really love or wear often ( Read more... ) -
Sailing, sailing
Thursday, I helped a friend move his new boat, a 40 foot sloop, from Brisbane to Alameda. It was quite a trip. A hundred yards out of the marina, we got stuck on a sand bar and had to wait for the tide to rise. Then we get out in the middle of Bay and the engine died. I am selling of all my large size clothes, including some elegant sequined evening gowns that I used on stage cause I'm never going to be able to wear them again, and frankly, I need the bucks ( Read more... ) -
G.I.P
I tried to kill it for five minutes before I realized it wasn't alive. Put it on a busy web site and drive people crazy. -
No Appetite
Being broke means I'm very limited as to what I can afford at the grocery store, and the stomach pain means I have no appetite at all. I'm convinced I would rather not eat than eat cheap food. Today I had an egg salad sandwich, and gileswench has been cooking me some great meals, but the rest of this stuff - blah ( Read more... )
