It's 10 degrees here and there's ice on the inside of the windows. What's wrong with this place? There oughtta be a law!

We have successfully moved to Chicago. Hooray! My whole body is killing me from helping Daniel and his co-workers to move their office and moving our own stuff up many flights of stairs. But I think it will have been worth it. We're here indefinitely, so we won't be moving again anytime soon ( Read more... )

Daniel and I took a bike ride to the California Raptor Center today on the UCDavis campus. It's part of the veterinary school where they rehabilitate injured raptors and house the ones that can't be released back into the wild. They have probably about thirty birds.
