This post is mainly for my own reference. Since I'm exiled from the game, I've been using BS to staunch the cravings. ): This is what I came up with - the majority aren't brand new, but (hopefully final) reworkings of sims that I made before and have caged in BS because I wasn't totally satisfied. I'm pretty happy with the lot right now, but I'll ( Read more... )

Ooh, lovely sims. I think Nathan Lamb's my favourite (I have a bit of a liking for werewolves, however.)
Nameless and nameless are gorgeous. I can't think of anything for him that's not horribly camp, however, and can only suggest something Celtic for her? Not very helpful :P

Thanks! I can only think of "Sven" - which is amazingly camp. He's a runway model and his hobbies are yodeling and skiing. Ja!

Wow. That's beautiful work.

Have you heard ANYTHING from either Apple or Aspyr about when the screw-up with Quicktime will be resolved? I'm getting really angry about this, and if I were someone who had recently bought the game, I'd be livid. I did not put down money at the Apple Store so I could have a pretty, but practically useless game disc.

Aw, thank you! ^^

So far, the only news is that they're trying to fix it. Which is nice, but what would be nicer is if either Aspyr or Quicktime had some sort of note on their websites to inform Tiger users about this. Quicktime might not find it relevant to a large enough percentage of their users, but Aspyr definitely should have a warning as it affects several of their most popular games. I'm not at all happy with the way they're handling this. Yeah, mistakes happen, but they ought to own up to it and give an estimate of how long it'll take to correct. :\
