A friend and I managed to get backstage passes at a Yes concert a few years ago at the Tweeter Center. Met the whole band, hung out for awhile, and guess what? I didn't have a single thing for them to sign. So I came home without a single signature.
Awwww, don't feel badly. What a delicious mid-summer experience! The cracking of wood bats, the roar of the crowd, hot dogs and beer and getting to meet a real-live ballplayer! Cross one childhood dream-realization off your mental checklist. Yay for you! No second guessing here, Bub, there are enough people in the world that are more than happy to squash your dreams, don't do it to yourself!!!!

1. You did get an autograph
AND
2. The Stankees are having an absolutely horrible year...and are 1.5 games behind you...
And, in case that doesn't cheer you up...
The METS are 11.5 games up...
It could be a re-match of the 1986 World Series...

The METS are now 14 games up...
If we have a 1986 rematch, I would be thrilled for it to go exactly as it did back then... Mets down 3 games to come back and sweep the last four...
Poetry in motion... Amazinnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn'
