It was On Demand, so I watched it this morning. It was VERY good. I highly recommend it. And now, I REALLY need to read some Austen. ;)

Smart People. OY. I thought it would be so great and witty and...I found it lacking in both aspects. *Shakes fist at the DVD*

Right? I expected it to be so sarcastic and dry and literary and instead it was sort-of depressing. :/

Yes! I felt like I was missing something, because I expected so much more. It was *totally* depressing.

- The Jane Austen Book Club: I watched this on a Saturday afternoon because I had nothing to do and it was on Netflix Instant-Watch. I was surprised by how much I liked it.

- Fanboys: I watched it for KB. I couldn't get into it too much because I don't know/like Star Wars very much. But it wasn't bad.

- Bride Wars: Wish I had skipped it. Confessions of a Shopaholic was much better.

- Suburban Girl: I love this movie, even though it's not amazing. I'm a sucker for SMG and the world of writing, complete with literary jokes.

- Serenity: Makes me feel dumb because I wanted more Inara/Mal, even if River kicks ass.

The Jane Austen Book Club was awesome and now I need to actually read some Jane Austen (which I've been meaning to do for a while, anyway).

Bride Wars was boring and predictable. Confessions of a Shopaholic was definitely better. Plus - Hugh Dancy :)

Suburban Girl was cute and I LOVED Alec Baldwin in it. He was perfect.

Yeah, I dunno... Serenity was okay, but I had to watch it twice before I really appreciated it. I guess I just liked the Firefly series better.
