Stacey:

I know exactly how you feel. It has been tough transitioning from my full time internship to school. I also have been feeling kind of wonky - brief suicidal thoughts, depression, the works.

Seriously, I'm always here for you, 24/7. You are one of my closest friends up here - you not only understand my quirks, you relish them and it troubles me that you are suffering. We will have to get together soon and have a heart to heart.

My phone is always on if you ever need to talk. I don't care if it's 4:30 AM on a Tuesday morning - call the number.

I love you Stacey (in a very non-sexual way)! And, hey, if you feel like taking a break from school, then maybe you should, but I'd say think about it really hard before deciding. Also, I'm around if you need anything, like another lesbian panel member ;)

Break from school = best thing I have ever done. EVER. Even better than piercing my clit. For reals, yo. But you do have to put some thought into it and make a plan. Not a hardcore plan, but a general plan of 'when am I going back, where, what do I feel I have to find/do in this time off', etc.

But the attractive options of not going to school:

Less stress (!!!!!!)
Greater cash in-flow
Lack of depressive/suicidal thoughts (for me at least)
Chance to get my ass in shape
More down-time
Read more books

It's your choice, but in the end, I think it may benefit you....
