THIS IS A PARTY POST.
Sami Salo scored two goals yesterday. And an assist. That's three points and a whole lot of slapshot.
And he ran into the arms of Bieksa like it was written in the stars. Make my baby see stars, Juice!!
First of all, Yeah, of course he scored a game winner~ (22nd of his career)
His first goal was the most amazing thing ever.
It was a slapshot. And it blew my mind.
And then he broke one of the Oilers' sticks with another slapshot.
I'd like to remind anyone reading that he also broke a goalie mask a couple games ago with a slapshot.
Reasons I love Sami Salo:
1) Because he's Sami freaking Salo.
2) Slapshots.
3) "Meaningful head turn"
Also, after the first goal, this happened:
It made me cry with joy and then later cry because I couldn't find a good video or picture of it so I was forced to export an ugly quality frame. But it's still good, ohmygod is it so good yeah it is.

OTHER REASONS FOR MERRIMENT:
My saved "Sami Salo" search on Twitter went crazy and Rick Dipietro was not mentioned at all.
It was, however, a Ryan Nyugent-Hopkins party before, during, and after the game.
And I'm driving my family nuts with "I Follow Rivers" by Lykke Li.
